The M.Sc. programme is designed to enhance the knowledge of materials science of those with engineering or physical science background in order to meet the demands of the industry and to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country. The programme is conducted part-time, enabling students to continue their career while gaining further knowledge and qualify cations. Teaching is carried out by well-experienced staff together with academics from other universities and institutions. Visiting lecturers from the industry are also invited to teach industrial related modules. All lectures, practical sessions, presentations, industrial visits and examinations will be conducted during weekends. This programme consists of a combination of compulsory modules and elective modules and a research project. The project is only available for studies towards M.Sc. Its main objective is to provide training in techniques that re essential for research and development work and problem solving in the industry.
